SCMTC Getting It All Together #30 October 20-22 at Fiesta Resorts in Acton So Cal. The SCMTC – Southern California Minitruck Council along with The SNMTCC – Southern Nevada Minitruck and Car Council every each come together for a 3-day run open to only clubs that are members of either council and in good standing or the new NCCVC - Northern California Custom Vehicle Council.
Over 3 days its time to visit with clubs you don’t get to see very often and just hang out. Friday night every makes their way to the event and get set up. Saturday morning is a friendly show and games for the clubs to take part in. Cal Cruizers hosted horseshoes, Altered Dimensions hosted Drunk Bat Circle Relay, and Next Episode hosted the volleyball tournament.
Saturday night before the stage took off some of the clubs had some fun with their virgin runners. Once the sun went down it was time to have some fun. First off, put a pie in the face of a council officer. Those clubs that had the most pre-reg for the event got to pick one council office and put a pie in their face. Next up, Jungle Juice Mix Off with only females judges. Then the stage just took off from there.
Sunday morning was a day to take care of hangovers, hand out some trophies and some cash, make sure your run virgins made it tough the night and then head home. This is one of the few 3-day events left in So Cal, its fun to spend 3 days with a bunch of friends just hanging out and camping. This event is not about the show its about spending time with each other and having a great time!
