May 18-20 Serious Threat hosted Spring Heat 3-day car, truck and boat event at Davis Camp in Bullhead City. What could be better then a 3-day event in Laughlin on the river.
The camping area was on the river. Literally your tent was on the edge of the river. With the heat of the desert many clubs put up an easy up in the river with some chairs and enjoyed the view. If the river wasn’t enough to cool you off the hotels were located just across the street.
The show area was grass with some trees. Although there was not many in show, many nice rides did roll out. The sage area was located just above the camp area so those drunken Minitruckers didn’t have far to walk. Of course what would a 3-day event be without Freaks of Nature and Beer Pong!
Over all Serious Threat did an amazing job. In a time where the number of rides in show has been dropping, this club had balls to step up and have an event at the river. The show was well organized, roll-in had no complaints, Mad House FX worked the stage Friday and Saturday nights, over all this a great show.
